Lead Graphics Engineer
Reports to: Chief Product Officer
Location: Silicon Valley/Palo Alto
The Lead Graphics Engineer will have responsibility for the development of our immersive video products and lead our technology team to drive the continued development and delivery of our mobile app video technology platform.
The main responsibility of this position is to architect and build a live streaming video player with an API for immersive video experiences and to architect and lead our future products. The candidate will have extensive experience in 3D graphics, Open GL and GPU optimization on mobile devices and have experience in video processing and Objective-C.
The successful individual will have outstanding interpersonal skills to recruit, manage and lead an engineering team. They have the ability to instill a deep sense of personal responsibility and accountability into the team they are leading to achieve ambitious, yet achievable goals.
The successful individual has proven his or her ability to lead a dynamic startup team, build trust, and influence outcomes through outstanding communication skills with non-technical team members.
The ideal candidate will have proven startup experience and have previously built, led and managed a startup technology team while maintaining a culture of innovation, entrepreneurship, and extreme productivity. This engineer should have experience executing multiple product and platform roadmaps and effectively communicating priorities as the company grows from early stage startup to an exit.
Profile of the Ideal Candidate:
- 5+ years current commercial experience in software development with extensive experiences in OpenGL environments.
- 2+ years current experience with iOS (Objective-C, Cocoa). Been involved in development of iOS apps released in the iTunes app store.
- B.A. or equivalent experience in Computer Science with a specialization in 3D graphics.
- Candidate must be a proficient programmer, devoting at least 75% of time working hands on, writing code at their current position.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with ability to translate highly technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
- Ideally some experience with panoramic videos, solving computational geometry and modeling problems utilizing libraries and APIs such as OpenGL, circular to full-dome workflow, and video processing and optimization on mobile devices such as iPhone / iPad is a definite plus.
- The ability to execute ambitious, yet achievable goals, effectively prioritizing them, clearly communicating them, and has a deep sense of accountability for their attainment.
- Ability to identify technical needs, and fill these needs quickly and effectively for rapid scaling.
- Interest in documentary films, photojournalism and visual storytelling is a definite plus.

iOS Developer
Reports to: CTO
Location: Silicon Valley/Palo Alto
The iOS developer will have responsibility for apps and technology delivered on the iOS platform.
This developer will integrate the currently in development SDK with existing apps, and analyze current apps for “loose ends”, including proper conformance to iOS 5 and 6 app requirements. This will include analyzing and profiling apps for execution, memory management, etc. - everything relevant from Xcode Instruments. This developer will also support graphics engineers in implementing in overall app development. The position includes maintaining and coordinating the source code repositories. This engineer is also responsible for building and submitting apps to the app store.

This engineer should have experience executing multiple product and platform roadmaps and effectively communicating throughout as the company grows from early stage startup to an exit.
Profile of the ideal candidate:
- Two years up to date experience with Xcode and Objective-C on iOS.
- Published at least one app in the app store.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science.
- Candidate must be a proficient programmer, devoting at least 75% of time working hands on, writing code at their current position.
- Familiarity with OpenGL (especially ES) and In App Purchase are pluses.
- Interest in films, photography and visual and interactive storytelling is a definite plus.

3D audio programmer/engineer
Reports to: CTO
Location: Silicon Valley/Palo Alto
The audio engineer will research and develop a workflow and underlying software and IT technology for 3D audio recording for producing Condition One videos, possibly relying on industry practice and/or public standards. The engineer will also research and develop an API for external components to programmatically produce 3D audio effects in the Condition One player, with both of these features dovetailing seamlessly.
This engineer will also participate in the development of the Condition One player to play back 3D audio effects.
This position includes interfacing with activity in the audio industry and appropriate standards committees for relevancy to Condition One.
The ideal candidate will have several years of experience working with digital audio and 3D audio at a developer level.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science.
